This 194 page book contains 94 short stories, written by locals while living in the Kenepuru and Pelorus Sounds. The Weka Writers were formed after we attended a writing workshop, and four years after our first efforts were scribbled, the book "Sleeping Dolphins" went into print. These are all true stories and if you are familiar with the Sounds and its people, you might recognize some of the names and places.
